関東で最古の木造建造物でもある、国宝の大善寺へ。こちらは自宅から車で１０分ほどの所にあります。
薬師如来像（葡萄薬師）と日光・月光菩薩蔵は秘仏とされているため、厨子に納められ、普段は拝観することは出来ません
でしたが、今年は５年に１度のご開帳で１０月に拝観することができるそうです。
今回、オフシーズンということもあり、貸し切り状態で、参拝させていただきました。
十二神将も拝見し、自分の干支にお参りしました。
The main hall of the temple of National treasure is the Japanese style
building of Kamakura period which was built in Koan 9 (1286).
A regent
of Kamakura Shogunate, Hojo Sadatoki levied ‘Betto Jjyumon’ tax on
people in two counties of Koshu and Sinshu and erected this main hall.
It is the precious traditional building which can be defined the age
of the building, because ‘Koan-Nine March 16’ of the date
the building
erected is carved on the rear corner post of the inner sanctuary of
the temple.
